When I first entered the rooms, they were a bit cold, but they did warm up eventually. They definitely need a good renovation; they're so outdated and worn out that it feels like being transported back to the '80s, and not in a good way. The hotel could step up its game by providing plates in the rooms right from the start.

Service

The staff, despite seeming a bit bored, were actually very friendly and accommodating. However, they were not readily available as reception is only open a few hours in the middle of the day.
Location

The location was a bit run down, but it is great for visiting Port Arthur. It's very close to hikes and has a restaurant and bar onsite, offering stunning water views.

The dining experience was wholesome and fresh with continental options delivered to your room the night before. However, it was limited to grilled dishes only.
Facilities

The hotel offers facilities that could use improvement but overall are satisfactory.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities for a short stay, but they were in need of renovation. On the bright side, they were clean, and the heater worked well to keep the room cozy on a chilly day. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond, especially considering they were understaffed. The location was superb, just a stone's throw away from the Port Arthur Historic Site, offering stunning water views but lacking in cleanliness. Unfortunately, the dining options were limited, leaving much to be desired. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement in some areas.

The hotel provided a comfortable and cozy stay with the convenience of a microwave for meal preparation. However, the rooms could benefit from an update and were not without some unwanted guests like daddy-long-leg spiders and ants, giving a somewhat run-down feel.

The dining experience was lacking in value for money, with high prices for basic items and a challenge with food quality. However, a delicious vegetarian couscous dish stood out.
