Reviews and Ratings
When I first entered the rooms, they were a bit cold, but they did warm up eventually. They definitely need a good renovation; they're so outdated and worn out that it feels like being transported back to the '80s, and not in a good way. The hotel could step up its game by providing plates in the rooms right from the start.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities for a short stay, but they were in need of renovation. On the bright side, they were clean, and the heater worked well to keep the room cozy on a chilly day. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond, especially considering they were understaffed. The location was superb, just a stone's throw away from the Port Arthur Historic Site, offering stunning water views but lacking in cleanliness. Unfortunately, the dining options were limited, leaving much to be desired. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement in some areas.
The hotel provided a comfortable and cozy stay with the convenience of a microwave for meal preparation. However, the rooms could benefit from an update and were not without some unwanted guests like daddy-long-leg spiders and ants, giving a somewhat run-down feel.
